Day 3: Taking the First True Steps

Persona PSP - Let The Butterflies Spread Until the Dawn

September 10, 2012 (Mo), Late Night.

It has been one week since the power of Persona has been revealed to you. Since then, the atmosphere around the hall has been one of suspicion and uncertainty - a far cry from the laid back feel from only eight days prior. A few skirmishes have broken out in the hunt for answers, but leads have been thin. A few students have been taken out of commission, both by the hands of fellow students as well as from other forces. Nobody has been able to apprehend a member of the cult mentioned by Igor. It was suspected that Demurist was a cultist, claiming only to have been following the orders of a strange woman from the Velvet Room. There was no evidence to suggest his involvement with the cult, but nonetheless, his Persona abilities were taken away.

Then, late at night on the 10th, a sign. A bright burst of light emanates from Infidel's room, followed by a crash. The first student on the scene looks into the room and first notices the broken window, and looking out, a figure fleeing the scene. Infidel is slumped over in the corner, his body pale and devoid of life. The only clue left on the scene is a small amulet later identified as being in the Mayan art style. Later in the evening, DasUberEdward is also found dead when police arrive to investigate. It is clear that the situation has begun to escalate, now that lives have been taken. Action must be taken to prevent the cultists from completing their plan.

New Revolution (Mafia) PM

September 10, 2012 (Mo), Late Night.

The glowing stone left from your encounter with the Mayan gods has left the cult somewhat puzzled. There seems to be an immense amount of power stored inside of it, but no direction on how it may be used. Eventually, it is found that the stone has the ability to take life and store its power - perhaps it will be the key to unlocking the rules of the cosmos. A plan is hatched to test the device on one of the hall's students to hopefully eliminate a rival as well.

Late at night, one of the cultists sneaks up from the base to the room of a randomly selected student and invokes the incantation. A ray of light shoots out from the stone, draining the energy from the hapless target. But the energy is overwhelming and uncontrollable - the cultist escapes hastily through the room window and into the darkness.

Your group now has a powerful attack that can be summoned to drain the life out of a selected target. Each night, PM Philemon the name of the person who you wish to sacrifice. They will take 200 points of almighty drain damage.
