Factions and Objectives
Students (Village) - Eliminate all members of the New Revolution Cult and the Vengeful Student.
New Revolution Cult (Mafia) - Eliminate the Vengeful Student and outnumber all remaining players.
Messians (Rival Faction 1) - Eliminate all Gaians before either the Students or New Revolution Cult achieves their win conditions.
Gaians (Rival Faction 2) - Eliminate all Messians before either the Students or New Revolution Cult achieves their win conditions.
Vengeful Spirit (Serial Killer) - Eliminate all other players.
Persona Collector (Third-Party) - Eliminate five other players before either the Students or New Revolution Cult achieves their win conditions.
Persona Stats and Role Distribution
Each persona has associated with it a learning rate for its skills (3/5/8, 3/5/9, 3/6/9, 3/6/10) and a stat distribution (HP/SP). Persona are divided into two groups, basic, and special. All players (with the exception of one person selected to take the Persona Collector role) is given one basic persona. On average, the basic persona have stats of 200 HP and 40 SP. Certain basic personas have instead stats of 160 HP/60 MP or 240 HP/20 MP if they are particularly powerful and biased toward magic or physical attacks, respectively. From the group of players with 'average-statted' personas, the remainder of basic personas and all special personas are alloted randomly (with the exception of the four Vengeful Spirit Personas, which are assigned as a group). Those players who receive a second basic persona do not receive extra stats, but those who receive special personas gained new stats, either 250 HP/60 SP (balanced), 200 HP/90 SP (magic-based), or 300 HP/30 SP (physical-based). Three exceptions: the Vengeful Spirit, Persona Collector, and Hero roles received 400 HP/80 SP stats.
The Hero
The player receiving the Hero persona, Icarus, is able to supercede the standard ability growth mechanics. Each day, they will be able to select one new skill to learn from a set list. While a limited selection of basic abilities will be available at the start, on days 3, 6, and 10, the selection will increase until all abilities become available.
Rare/Hidden Skills
Certain Personas will be able to learn skills not listed in the main post.
All special Personas except Icarus start with the skill Shadow Hit. Targets of Weakness Scan and Full Analysis did not learn that they were targeted at all.
Mafia Group Attack
On days 1 and 2, the mafia had no group abilities. Starting from day 3, the mafia gained a group attack, New Revolution, that dealt 200 points of almighty drain damage (working much like Life Drain and Spirit Drain, only without any players gaining the drained life) which could be used once each day.
