So Plutonium wants to consider changing how the red votes work. Our conversation up until now can be seen in the day 2 actions thread.
Long story short, are we interested in rewarding the stronger players by somehow allowing them to survive a red vote by either moving to second place or simply putting a reward on their head instead of death?
I'd like to hear the feedback of the deceased players on this one. I'm not willing to change the mechanics unless people seem to think it's of value and won't change the game too much. I think it'll throw enough off balance to influence the later parts of the game since the last game was able to have a final winner as last man standing because the votes were used on lover pairs who were much tougher to kill.

It's fine the way it is. If you're TOO strong, you eat death by mob. Day 1 should be a bounty instead of a kill, though. That's just my opinion.

I can't remember who I talked with, but the next game I want to run (outside of phallout) will be a game that doesn't revolve around killing people. The "Where in phalla is carmen sandiago" theme that robothero may be using is a good one to start with for example.
Otherwise, the players that well-round the games tend to die early.

Since MrBlarney is against changing it and I'm stubborn on it, we'll leave this as is. Maybe when we write up a slightly different handbook for someone else if they want to use this stuff, we'll make notes about it there.

First night being a bounty instead of a kill is the only thing I'd like changed. And if you did change things and bring it back, I'd like to be brought back as a Versus zombie. Mindless killing machine prowling the island, so I can't give roles away.

We'd bring you back as a mute student if we considered it. All you could do was vote and kill.
Simple enough heh.

Yeah, Carmen San Diego is just going to send people to jail where they are basically dead, but can still participate in the thread (and be broken out of jail)

The zombie thing would be interesting for a resident evil type phalla.
You'd have S.T.A.R.S. and police, maybe civilians and then you'd have Umbrella. Umbrella kills people by turning them into zombies. Then the zombies can bite people, turning them into zombies in return or some such. Thus begins the race before everyone's eating brains.
So technically, anyone who dies by the Umbrella and zombies become zombies. The others are the only ones that could take someone out of play.

It'll be cheez in LOST but ten times worse.

Man, resurrecting cheez multiple times was like the worst thing to do with that vote.

Hmm
The person whose actions in the round pleases Kitano the most, be it for straight up killing power or and particularly good betrayal or something recieves a collar deactivator.
I'm thinking in the context of a next iteration of this game.

For the next iteration of the game, I'm going to put up a suggestion thread.
I'm not sure I'm going to run another one, but we can leave the details around for someone else to pick it up if they wish.
