Selection of Matches
Matches for each day are chosen at random among the remaining living fighters, observing that all fighters must be selected once before any can be selected a second time (and so on for higher rounds). For the second 'round' of combats, each fighter should have at least a three week break, to avoid them from showing up too soon after their previous bout. At the start of the game, there will be three matches per day, moving to two matches per day after each fighter has appeared once.
Betting Common Pool
The size of the common pool is determined by the amount of money wagered by players on each match. For each match, the common pool is equal to 25% of the total sum of bets made on the two match combatants, up to a cap limit. At the start of the game, the cap is set at $2500, increasing as players are eliminated from the game up to $5000 per match.
Reduction of Money Abilities
In a normal game, specials will be eliminated, reducing the amount of resources available to the village. To emulate this, starting from Day 6, the amount of purchasable abilities will be reduced. On Day 6, one Protection will become unavailable. On Day 8, one Investigation will become unavailable. On Day 10, one Assassination will become unavailable. On Day 12, a second Protection will become unavailable. After this, there will be no further reductions (leaving one of each type of special action).
