You are a member of the Blue Rogues!
When it comes to Air Pirates, there are two major camps to which they may fall. On one side are the Blue Rogues, pirates who only engage in fair combat with other vessels and who gather wealth to help those who are in need. On the other side are the Black Pirates, who consider any ship a fair target and who gather wealth for only their own benefit. As one might expect, the two groups often find themselves in combat with one another over their ideals. Despite their differences, Blue Rogues and Black Pirates alike still have quite a bit in common. All Air Pirates, whether of blue or black persuasion, share a love of discovery, exploration, and the freedom of being in the open sky. It's a complicated relationship with plenty of nuance, so much so that one that pirates of the same color face off against each other in misunderstandings and pirates of different shades find themselves working together before discovering their ideological differences.
And when it comes to working together, Blue Rogues and Black Pirates have quite the potential when faced with a common foe. Phalladia's largest nations, the Bravian Empire and Kingdom of Ashan, have fallen into full-scale war with each other, and the extent of their conflict has dragged all Air Pirates into the battle. If their incursion into Air Pirate affairs is not stopped, then the age of exploration will come to an end, wrapped tightly in the hands of one of the great powers. Your objectives are clear: first, show the great nations that Air Pirates are not to be trifled with easily. Secondly, show those Black Pirates a thing or two and cut their numbers down. They do outnumber you by a small amount, and if they continue to maintain their numbers, you know that they'll only extend their vile ways after the end of the war.
Win Condition: All Bravian Empire and Kingdom of Ashan players must be eliminated AND the number of Blue Rogues players remaining must be greater than the number of Black Pirate players.

You've already got a slight numerical advantage; might as well use the conflict to press that advantage and achieve true freedom in the skies without their meddling.
Win Condition: All Bravian Empire and Kingdom of Ashan players must be eliminated AND the number of Black Pirates players remaining must be greater than the number of Blue Rogues players.

You are a member of the Bravian Empire!
The power of flight has brought many riches and prosperity to the Bravian Empire, as the world has opened up the nation to a variety of new foods, cultures, and technologies. Many lands beyond the Empire's home continent have been brought under the Bravian banner, and the nation stands to be the one ruler over all of the land of Phalladia. However, you're not the only nation out there, and the Empire's largest rivals are the Kingdom of Ashan. With a size a bit larger than the Bravian holdings, they are a force to be wary of, one worthy of going to war over. The world of Phalladia is not large enough for both nations, only one of you can stand at the end.
Of course, every conflict has its own complications, and in the Empire's attempts to extend its base, it has garnered the attention of the Air Pirates, who do not seem to take kindly to their freedoms being threatened. The fact that the Kingdom of Ashan has also gained the ire of the Pirates does not help matters either. It seems that the Air Pirates are a volatile and unpredictable foe that must be stamped down if your world domination is to have any meaning. As a member of the Bravian Empire, you've been inserted into the Air Pirate organization as a bit of a privateer to take them down from within. No doubt the Kingdom of Ashan is doing the same thing - it will be a balancing act to not only get rid of the pirates, but also exert your power over your rival nation.
Win Condition: The combined number of Bravian Empire and Kingdom of Ashan players must equal or outnumber the number of all other players AND the number of Bravian Empire players must be greater than the number of Kingdom of Ashan players.

You are a member of the Kingdom of Ashan!
The Kingdom of Ashan represents the unification of a number of islands centered around a central continent. For untold years, communications between the islands was difficult, only made possible with dangerous methods of air travel. With moonstone-powered flight, however, true unity was possible. As information and goods were able to shared between the Kingdom's constituent states, the Ashan nation truly became great, one of the great powers of the world. But beyond the horizon of the Kingdom's influence came a great foe in the Bravian Empire. Though slightly smaller in size, their technology was found to be something to be cautious of and their ambition dangerous. In order to protect the Ashan lands, the nation has had to expand its own holdings in order to keep up.
Of course, every conflict has its own complications, and in the nation's attempts to extend its base, it has garnered the attention of the Air Pirates, who aren't quite on the same page. The fact that the Bravian Empire has also gained the ire of the Pirates does not help matters either. It seems that the Air Pirates are a volatile and unpredictable entity that needs to be controlled if the Kingdom of Ashan is to be able to concentrate on the big picture. You are a member of the Free Mercenaries!
While most Air Pirates will come in colors of blue or black, you find yourself to be of a different type altogether. The petty squabbles they get into over the smallest of things are just too much for you; you just want to be in the sky and fly around in peace. These days, however, peace is the last thing on the menu as the two great nations of the world, the Bravian Empire and Kingdom of Ashan, have started a war over who-knows-what. So everyone's fighting now and nobody can rest for even a day lest they find their ship with smoke pouring out of every hole, gliding to its end on a rock in the middle of nowhere or to the endless sky below. You've had enough of this conflict and just want it to end: you don't care who wins. As long as at the end of it all, you get to keep your ship and keep on sailing, it doesn't matter to you.
Win Condition: Survive to the end of the game.

You are a member of the Silvite Civilization!
For unknown years, the Silvites have watched over the land of Phalladia as its custodians. Long, long ago, the people of Phalladia had once had dominion over the power of flight, which first caused prosperity, then conflict, and finally destruction. The Silvites escaped from the battered surface and took to space, taking along with them all knowledge that caused the original catastrophe. But the power of flight has been discovered once again, and it appears as though the tragedy will once again repeat itself. The Silvite Elders have sent you to the surface as a lone agent of the Silvites to put a stop to the fighting before it gets out of hand. For a number of years, you have traveled the lands to observe its people, and have come to the conclusion that humanity cannot be redeemed and the cycle restarted once again. Your objective now is to eliminate all that would seek to cause conflict, to pave the way for a new beginning, and hopefully a new future.
Win Condition: Eliminate all other players and be the last one standing. No other win conditions may be satisfied while you still live.
