You are a member of the Knights of the Heavenly City!
As one of the Heavenly City's soldiers, you have been charged with maintenance of the general order, the observance of the city's laws, and the protection of its people. A position as a Knight is one of the proudest positions that one can have, one that comes with a lot of responsibility, but also a lot of comfort. Time and time again, the Knights have pushed back forces of chaos from the general populace, terrorists that wish to eliminate those who are in charge of the city and their operations.
Now, a new group has appeared to threaten the populace, one more powerful than any previous entity. The Dharmapala has done the unbelievable, summoning the power of demons and calling themselves the true protectors of humanity. With this unnatural power, they threaten to destroy the order that the Heavenly City has built, leaving the future of humanity uncertain. Fortunately, it does not appear that they have had full control of the demonic power, as you are one of those outside of their group that has claimed a share of that power. Whether a blessing or a curse, it is now your responsibility to use the power that has been granted to you to stop the Dharmapala from achieving their goals and protect the sanctity of the Heavenly City.
Victory Condition: Eliminate all members of the Dharmapala and any others that may resist the city's rule.

No... that's a mistake.
You are a member of the resistance group Dharmapala!
While outsiders to the Heavenly City may see it as a beacon of hope for the future of humanity, there is a side to the city that only its residents know. The wealthy part of the city only represents a small, privileged class of citizens, hiding a large underclass of citizen that lives with many fewer luxuries. The laws of the city stifle the peoples' freedom and stunt any chance of rising up the ranks; it is rare to hear of cases where anyone has risen out of the underclass. Many resistance groups have come about before in an attempt to change the system, to revolutionize how people in the Heavenly City live. However, each attempt has ended in failure against the massive power and resources of the soldiers in the employ of the city.
And so the time has come to enact drastic measures to even the odds, to bring about a true opportunity for change. Your group, calling themselves the Dharmapala, has harnessed the power of the heavens, cosmic forces that know no discrimination between those born into wealth and those who know only poverty. Though some of the Knights of the city have also received Atma to match yours, the control of the situation lies in your hands. With the city's soldiers in disarray, you now have the chance to use the chaos to your advantage, helping the city rip itself apart, affording a new beginning for humanity to build upon.
Victory Condition: Eliminate enough of the Knights of the Heavenly City such that your number matches or exceeds theirs and any other threats that will not listen to your demands.
Your fellow Dharmapala members are: <insert names here>
As a group, you command the wrath of the Black Sun. Each day, you may select one player to be targeted by the Black Sun, dealing a base 200 almighty attack at LV=5 and MA=10. This attack always hits and operates last in the round. In addition, you may command the unnamed lower-ranked members of the Dharmapala to attack a single target, dealing a base 35 attack of each basic element (Physical, Fire, Ice, Electric, Force, Earth) at LV=1, ST=4, MA=4, AG=4. This attack operates last in the round, at the same time as the Black Sun.
Each individual of the Dharmapala also have slightly increased stats compared to the standard player, starting with an additional point in ST, MA, and AG (for a total of 15 points after all initial allocations), and an additional 4 AP at the start of the game (for a total of 9 AP).

No... that's not it at all.
You are a true demon!
Humans can be so foolish sometimes. While they desire unity and peace for those within their own tribes, inevitably they are also quick to visit pain and violence among those outside of their circle. You've been summoned, perhaps inadvertently, by a new conflict among the humans. Though the Heavenly City has been built out of the ashes of the old world, there are those within who wish to burn the city down once more. The drastic measures taken by these so-called revolutionaries have caused the power of demons to seep into the human world, upsetting the balance that previously existed. The power of the divine are not to be trifled with, and your calling into their world is a good chance to test the humans' mettle. Will they be able to rein in the demonic forces and use it to carve a new destiny? Or will a true demon as yourself be able to take them down?
Victory Condition: Destroy all humans and be the last one standing. No other victory condition may be satisfied while you still live.
You are a powerful demon that has a number of innate traits to aid survival. You start with two additional points in each stat (for a total of 18 points after all initial allocations) and an additional 8 AP at the start of the game (for a total of 13 AP). You do not need to take any weaknesses (though the sum of your resistance scores must still be 0 or less) and you are immune to instant-death effects. You are in command of two special abilities. The first, Gaea Rage, costs 12% HP and deals an extreme amount (base 200) of almighty damage. (Despite the HP cost of the ability, the skill's accuracy and scaling is that of a magical ability.) The second, Megidolaon, costs 32 MP and deals an extreme amount (base 200) of almighty damage.
